Children age 4 through 6th Grade are invited to participate in Christ Lutheran's Vacation Bible School. They'll enjoy an age appropriate Bible adventures, great games, cools crafts, tasty treats, and amazing songs.
Last year's theme was..."Crocodile Dock." The Bayou (aka Swamp) was the coolest place for kids to hang out this summer.
Everyday offered a rock solid God-centered lesson. Four of the five lessons were from the book of Exodus and directly spoke to God’s character. Day four the study jumped into the New Testament to cover Jesus’ death and resurrection. Here is the day-by-day breakdown of Crocodile Dock.“God is with us” is based on Moses and the burning bush.
“God is powerful” is taken from the God’s judgment plagues upon the Egyptians.
“God does what he says he’ll do” is based on the first Passover.
“God gives new life” recounts the death and resurrection of Jesus.
“God cares for us” is based on the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea.
